Privacy Policy
This policy describes what personal data we process, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.
Site operator
Pan Kotski ("we") operates this site and determines the purposes and means of processing the personal data described below. For any questions about data processing, contact us via the contact page.
What data we collect
To register you and build a personalized development program for your child, we process these categories of data:
- Parent account data: name, email, and optionally phone, timezone, interface language.
- Child data: name, age or birth date, gender, quiz answers (development goals, available time, concerns), hobbies (optional).
- Service usage data: which tasks were completed or skipped, skill progress, diary notes, unlocked achievements.
We don't collect or store payment details — the service doesn't use payments yet.
Purpose and legal basis for processing
- Performance of a contract with you: creating your account, generating and adapting your child's program (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Legitimate interest: sending service emails (registration confirmation, a nudge to come back, a weekly progress summary — you can opt out in your profile) and keeping the site running and secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Consent: analytics and advertising cookies, where the law requires your prior consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) — see Cookies below.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies (for example, to keep you logged in and remember your interface language) are always used — the site can't work correctly without them.
For analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) and ad measurement (Meta Pixel) we use separate cookies. Where the law requires your prior consent for these, we only enable them after you click "Accept" in the banner shown on our site; elsewhere they may be used automatically for basic visit statistics.
You can decline analytics cookies in the banner, or clear your saved choice by clearing your browser's site data — this doesn't affect the program itself.
Who data is shared with (processors)
We don't sell your data. To run the service we use data processors: an email delivery provider, PostHog (EU) for analytics, and Meta for ad measurement (only where and when enabled). Each processor receives only the data needed for its task, under a data processing agreement.
How long we keep data
Account and child data is kept while the account is active. After account deletion, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page.
Children's data
A child profile is created and controlled by a parent or guardian — a child doesn't register with the service directly or provide data on their own. Parents are responsible for the accuracy of the data they provide about their child and can ask to correct or delete it at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the service or applicable law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
